The New Testament talks about the importance and benefits of giving but nowhere speaks of a tithe requirement. We are to give as we are able and led. Sometimes that means giving more than 10 percent; sometimes that may mean giving less. It all depends on the ability of the Christian and the needs of the church. Every Christian should diligently pray and seek God’s wisdom in the matter of participating in tithing and/or how much to give (James 1:5). Above all, all tithes and offerings should be given with pure motives and an attitude of worship to God and service to the body of Christ. “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).” www.gotquestions.org has a great article on this as well.

Giving Transition: Thank you for bearing with us as we’ve sought the right system that will be with us for the long haul. As we have researched and asked the advice of other churches of similar and larger sizes, we’ve settled on Planning Center Online. With PCO, you will be able to log in and view all of your giving through the Church Center app for Android and iOS. You can also continue to give and view giving as well as manage your account and profile information online here. For the transition to be smooth, we ask that you cancel the recurring giving in the Old Tithe.ly Giving button below. Then set up all future giving through PCO Giving. To aid in the transition, we’ve clarified the names on the buttons for the time being. If you have any questions or need help cancelling something, please email James at email@example.com or give him a call. Thanks!
